Our repertoire
Recorded concert of the Masaryk University Symphony Orchestra on May 8, 2018: Highlights From Jurassic Park (4K)
From Classical Music to Pirates of the Caribbean
Our orchestra performs works ranging from the Classical period to contemporary pieces. In addition to popular compositions, we regularly present works that have never been performed in our country or are rarely played.
In the 2018/19 season, for example, we performed Symphony No. 4 by Kurt Atterberg, music from Avatar and Titanicby James Horner, Star Wars by John Williams, and many other pieces.
You can find recordings of our concerts on YouTube.

Concerts
We love performing and do not shy away from unconventional venues. In addition to traditional concert settings, we have performed in theaters, with live film screenings, at the Trutnov rock festival, and in the Kroměříž Castle. Typically, we hold three concerts per academic year, almost always featuring new repertoire.

All of our orchestra’s concerts are recorded in 4K video and professionally audio recorded. Your time in the orchestra will leave you with a lasting memento, one that can be enjoyed by people around the world.
